Snowboard boots
As with the other parts, snowboard boots have many different options. For example, there are different ways to tighten the boots.
Speed lacing / Quick pull
Instead of the original lacing system, these boots have one elastic band that can be tightened in one motion. Thus, in one pull, you can tighten the boots to how you wish.
Boa lacing
In addition to the speed lacing system, the boa lacing system is an even more efficient system. Instead of laces or an elastic band, this system has one button to tighten a cable through the boot to the rider's wishes. There is also a variant with two buttons and two cables, to tighten two areas separately. This way you can tighten the snowboard boots perfectly.
Flex
As with the snowboard and bindings, snowboard boots also have a certain amount of flex. These are divided into soft, medium and stiff.
Soft
Soft snowboard boots require less energy when turning and are a bit more forgiving for your shins. These boots are appropriate for beginners and freestyle snowboarders.
Medium
These boots are similar to the soft snowboard boots but provide just a little more support. This support is appreciated by most snowboarders. This way you can ride fast on the slopes and still hit rails and boxes in the snowpark.
Stiff
The stiffer snowboard boots are made for fast descents down the slopes and deep carves. These boots have a more direct responsiveness and are very much appreciated by freeride snowboarders.
