Snowboard bindings

As with the snowboard itself, the bindings also have a certain stiffness. Again, this is represented on a scale from 1 (soft) to 10 (stiff). Every snowboarder has their own preference in this, but generally speaking, every purpose fits a certain flex.

Flex

soft (1-2) - appropriate for freestyle snowboarding

Medium-to-soft (3-4) - recommended for beginners.

medium (5-6) - ideal medium, appropriate for all-mountain snowboarding

medium-to-stiff (7-8) - appropriate for all-mountain snowboarding at higher speeds

stiff (9-10) - maximum responsiveness, appropriate for freeride snowboarding.

Size

The sizes of snowboard bindings depend on the size of the snowboard boots. In addition, this is classified differently for each brand. Generally, we divide the sizes into small (37-40), medium (40-44), large (44+).
